As November 19 approaches, we’ll be cheering on Sister Fa to receive the 2011 Freedom to Create prize.

Artists serve as champions of the freedom of expression essential for strengthening understanding and harmony. They take risks to play an important role as positive change agents.”

As anyone who’s seen Sister Fa in concert or in the film knows, it’s hard to imagine anyone more deserving.
